The views of Brusson are set against the magnificent Monte Rosa chain, with unique features that leave you breathless.
Brusson, frequented since ancient times by the Salassi, indomitable opponents of the Romans for over a century (143-25 BC) and the fall of the Roman Empire suffered the occupations of Burgundi, Goths and Lombards, before being annexed to the Frankish kingdom (575). After the creation of the Carolingian Empire he was included in the fief of Graines, which belonged to the abbey of Saint-Maurice d'Agaune in the Valais; subsequently the abbey ceded its feudal rights to the powerful Challant family (1263), who were lords of the place until 1727. From this date onwards the feud followed the events of the Savoy kingdom until the annexation to the kingdom of Italy.
The result of the interesting historical events of the municipality are many places and villages to discover in their most hidden and disparate.
