The community ovens in the villages of around 50 municipalities in the Aosta Valley are turned on to bake the traditional black bread.On Saturday 14 October the oven in Lignod, village of Ayas, will be lit. The mill will be opened and its operation will be illustrated.
The day will be enlivened by the folklore group and the "Grandparents' Games", traditional popular games. Lunch will also be prepared by the Alpini of Ayas.
