Discover the Gressoney Valley! the Gressoney Monterosa Tourist Consortium with the Gressoney Monterosa Hiking Guides and Mid-Mountain Leaders are organizing a rich program of hikes in the Gressoney Valley for the summer.

The Alpenstock Guides will accompany you to the most beautiful places and tell you myths and legends of Gressoney.

First event of the season Wednesday, June 11, 2025 with the hike, Rong: among ancient Walser hamlets and mountain flavors.

To follow, every Tuesday from June 17, 2025 to September 9, 2025.

Every Tuesday we offer an excursion accompanied by certified guides, at the end of some hikes in collaboration with local farmers, we will make you taste typical cheeses, honey and jams, you will be able to see animals in the mountain pasture or visit mountain gardens with seasonal crops.
The guides will tell anecdotes and peculiarities of the territory and culture of Gressoney, they will be able to give you valuable information about local flora and fauna.
All walks have a difficulty E ( hiking ) or T ( tourist ), the positive elevation gain of the different walks varies between 170 and 500 meters.

Tickets for the walks can be purchased from the Gressoney Monterosa Tourist Consortium.

Participating accommodation facilities offer the walk free of charge to their guests.

For those not staying in participating accommodations, walks with return for 12:30/13:00 pm cost €15.00 per person and walks with packed lunch and return for 2:30/15:00 pm cost €25.00 per person.

Free up to 10 years old and € 10 from 10 to 16 years old.

Extra costs

Possibility to buy local products directly from the mountain pastures and gardens.

Products not included in the price of the field trip.

Please note

ADAPTED CLOTHING is required (mandatory hiking shoes or boots, backpack, rain jacket, fleece, etc.).

Packed lunch where indicated not included.

The itineraries described are indicative and may be subject to change related to weather conditions, safety conditions of the trail and the needs and conditions of the participants.

Under 4 years of age, children must be carried in backpacks (NO STROLLERS); not recommended for hikes for those over 75.

If you have a dog in tow, it is necessary to bring a leash and muzzle upon notification at the time of booking.
