Access: the starting point to climb Col de Joux from Brusson is the parking lot of the ice skating rink, reachable by a dirt road on the right immediately after the Evançon bridge. Please note: the use of the car park is reserved for rink customers.
Description of the route: following the path n.1, follow a dirt road that climbs to the left of the car park. Continue on the left until the path becomes a wide trail. The trail crosses the regional road several times until reaching the top of the hill. You will see the fountain of Napoleon where you can refuel and take shelter under a roof. Finally, the path continues for about twenty meters to the left of the fountain, crosses the road for the last time and reaches the parking lot at the top of the Col de Joux.
