Ring tour.
From Champoluc we first climb to the village of Champlan. Follow the main road in the direction of Antagnod as far as the Sabot restaurant. When you reach this point, turn immediately right at the access to the underground garage, and take a small uphill road to follow as far as the little church. When you reach this point, on the left, you must take the dirt road that on the level will lead you right into the main street of the hamlet of Palenc known as Rue des Fleurs; the path passes among the old houses and is full of typical and characteristic views. It joins the main road in the hamlet of Magneaz. Here, continue 30 metres further along the main road and then cross the road near the village fountain. Here, at the height of the recycling bins, you take the old mule track through the old part of the hamlet of Magneaz, where you can admire truly majestic stone houses. The path then leads to a beautiful panoramic viewpoint over the Ayas valley, and continues up to a slope that brings us back to the main road to be taken to the left towards Bisous. One crosses Bisous and descends to Antagnod. It is worth stopping on reaching Ville Rivetti, seat of the municipality of Ayas, for the photos that can be taken from the vantage point (as soon as you enter the village of Antagnod, turn right at the crossroads of the Santa San hotel, and continue along the road as far as the primary schools, and then on a level ground, keep to the left on the dead-end road). Reach the historic centre of Antagnod, where you can admire the paw of the last bear in Val d'Ayas hanging from the rafters of the craft shop. From that point, descend a few metres towards Lignod where there is a long fountain on the left. A little further on, a yellow sign to the left of the road indicates the multitrack to take. It is beautiful and flowing. Follow it as far as Lignod where it ends at the old Hotel Miravalle. At this point we stay on the main road again for a few metres and pass through the village of Lignod. The bakery in the centre of the village is worth a visit. To find the entrance to the next mule track, we have to reach the Alpe Fleurie hotel, near which a large wooden rascard is concomitant with a road that descends into a dense forest of trees. The mule track that will take us down to Pra Charbon is well signposted with yellow signs. The mule track at this point in fact turns into a carriage road near a small building, and skirts near a stable until it joins the main road. Once back on this road, we descend a maximum of 20 metres and turn left, where a dirt road with a rusty iron fence begins. Let's take it and follow it to the bottom, skirting the Evançon river and then flowing into Periasc. Here, it is sufficient to cross the road and enter directly into the beautiful village of Periasc, where it is advisable to zigzag between the houses along the narrow streets of the village, and then continue in the direction of Champoluc. From Periasc, the mule track to Champoluc is taken near the playground at the end of the village, above the power station, just behind a large fir tree. The path first leads to the old mill at Pilaz and then continues parallel to the river to the Champoluc sports fishing pond. From here, the trail continues to the Champoluc meadow. On reaching the Alpaca park, the trail passes alongside the meadow under the trees, continues into the forest and then comes out at the Mascognaz waterfalls. From here the downhill asphalt road will lead you to the central square where the loop tour ends.
