Despite its location not far from the ski slopes, the village of Cunéaz remains almost invisible to those who do not know of its existence. Nestled in the natural basin in which the Torrent de Cunéaz flows, a watercourse that originates from the largest of the Pinter lakes, this charming Alpine village dates back to the Middle Ages and was, for centuries, inhabited all year round, although it remained isolated during the long winter months. It was in fact a self-sufficient village, with large barns and a very important bakery, still visible and functioning today. Today, Cunéaz is the ideal place to regain the rhythms of nature and relive the atmosphere of the past.
